The challenge of Mexico is to reduce economic inequality: De la Madrid

Economic inequality is one of the main challenges in Mexico to become a developed country, said Secretary of Tourism (Sectur), Enrique de la Madrid.

For this reason, he said that some states achieve growth of 8.0%, while other entities reflect levels well below those growth rates.

In that sense, he affirmed that there are favorable conditions for Mexico to take advantage of the opportunities that open up in many countries of the world in segments such as medical tourism and retirement.

Through a statement said that Mexico is also a country where there are more than 30 million homes, 99% of them have electricity, 95% have drinking water and above 94% have solid ground.
