Economy / Finance - Liberbank transforms 82 offices into financial agencies in one year

Liberbank has transformed 82 offices into financial agencies in the first year of execution of its initiative to convert the office model in response to the geographic dispersion of certain population areas.

To this end, in September 2016, the entity launched this strategy, which consists of franchising offices in small rural areas to alleviate the geographical dispersion of some areas of population with respect to their regions of origin, as well as to serve the populations with unique characteristics of the non-natural territories of the bank.

Most of the transformed offices are in the rural environment of their natural regions. Specifically, there are 12 in Asturias, 9 in Cantabria, 25 in Extremadura and 26 in Castilla-La Mancha.
