Cabify will develop a panic button that is linked to the emergency systems of the police authorities, with the aim of alerting them in case of risk situations for the user or the driver.

In a statement, the private passenger transport company stressed that it is working on various initiatives, with the aim of further increasing its security protocols.

He also asked for the full weight of the law for those who are guilty in the case of the murder of the young Mara Fernanda Castilla, so they will continue to collaborate with the Attorney General of the State of Puebla and the competent authorities, providing the information required.

In this way, he said that they will take steps to ensure that only the best drivers can provide their services through the platform, as well as include the option of providing emergency contact information within the user profile.
