Notable, preferred by advertisers

Teams announced the 2016 edition of the Uruguayan Advertising Market Study, which reveals the favorite agencies of the largest advertisers and makes an X-ray of where the budget is invested. Notables, the agency headed by Pipe Stein and Diego Lev, is the most valued advertising company of the Uruguayan market. Sprawled in all areas, it was the first podium position as the leading agency, the most creative and the one that gets better prices in the media.

The results are from the 2016 edition of the Uruguayan Advertising Market Study (MPU), which has been conducted for 21 years by Teams Consultants and is the only independent report analyzing the preferences of the largest advertisers in the country (considering national, multinational, private companies and public).

In that study, Young & Rubicam also proved to be the agency with the best strategic planning, followed by Notable (33%) and Público Impetu (17%).

In individual talent, Stein became the best director of the agency and the best creative director (a category where Lev also ranks in the top 3) and the best responsible of the digital area, Raquel Oberlander, also integrates Notable's staff.

For his part, Aldo Alfaro (Media Office), with 16% of the preferences, turned out to be the best media planner and Mauricio Minchilli (Públicois Impetu), the best account executive.

In the category "agency that works best in the digital area", the clear winner was THEF, with 32% of the preferences, followed by Notable (25%), Young & Rubicam, Pimod and EMB & Partner (each with 15%).

The MPU includes an analysis of volume, composition and trends of the Uruguayan advertising market, investment and distribution of the marketing budget. The global marketing investment in 2016 was close to US $ 264 million and in 2017 it added up to US $ 276 million. It is projected to invest 4% more for the remainder of the year, which translates into an additional US $ 11.2 million.
